Bombay Original is made in accordance with a time-honored recipe established in 1761. The heart of this distinctive dry gin is its unique distillation process, called vapour infusion. Unlike some gins, which boil their botanicals together with the spirit, Bombay Original distils its pure grain spirit alone. The spirit vapour from this distillation then gently passes through a copper basket containing eight carefully selected botanicals. This way Bombay acquires a subtle, full flavour taste which makes it such a rounded and distinctive dry gin. Wherever the journey takes you, Bombay original encourages you to drink responsibly.
Mildly scented with ginger, anise, honeysuckle and juniper. The gin has a pronounced but fleeting sweetness, and a lingering finish laced with lemon peel and licorice/fennel seed. Gin & tonic materal.
